Angel represents the 26th district stretching from Gig Harbor to Port Orchard and into the Key Peninsula. Here’s her news release:

Rep. Angel invites local residents to call her

Thursday, Jan. 12, Rep. Jan Angel will hold a telephone town hall meeting

Rep. Jan Angel is inviting constituents on the 26th District to participate in a telephone town hall meeting on Thursday evening, Jan. 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The program works much like a radio call-in talk show. Citizens may dial-in to learn more about the 2012 legislative session, ask questions, participate in surveys or just listen.

Local residents who would like to participate in the event can call 1-877-229-8493 and enter code 15472.

“I want to hear from citizens throughout the 26th District and get their views about the budget, jobs, ferries, and other issues we are facing in this session that could affect our local area,” said Angel, R-Port Orchard.

For more information, call Angel’s office at (360) 786-7964 or visit her Web site at www.houserepublicans.wa.gov/Angel.
