Poll: yes on smoking ban, no on cigar exemption

Washington’s ban on smoking in public places is supported by 84 percent of voters, according to a new EMC Research poll commissioned by health groups that fight against tobacco use. The poll also shows 71 percent opposition to changing the 2005 law to accommodate special cigar smoking lounges, Lucy Culp of the American Heart Association said Tuesday.
