After redistricting breakthrough, more maps due Friday

A break-through is near on new political maps outlining Washington’s 49 legislative districts. The four voting members of the Washington State Redistricting Commission conferred in person and by phone today, and bipartisan agreements are in the offing for Western Washington – with work on the state’s dry side expected to follow.

All will be revealed at 9 a.m. Friday. Actual maps will be posted online at this site after 2 Friday afternoon.
