ELECTION: Puyallup city council, school board results

Five of the Puyallup City Council’s seven seats are up for election. Here are the results after the first ballot tally:

 

AT LARGE:

Nicole Martineau: 48 percent

Steven Vermillion: 52 percent

 

DISTRICT 1, POSITION 1:

John Knutsen: 100 percent

 

DISTRICT 1, POSITION 2:

John Hopkins: 58 percent

Tom Smillie: 42 percent

 

DISTRICT 2, POSITION 1:

Charley Stokes: 37 percent

John Palmer: 63 percent

 

DISTRICT 3, POSITION 1:

Robin Ordonez: 49 percent

Tom Swanson: 51 percent

 

 

 

Three of the Puyallup School Board’s five seats are up for election. Here are the results after the first ballot tally:

 

POSITION 2:

Therese Ngo Pasquier: 44 percent

Dane Looker: 56 percent

 

POSITION 3:

Pat Jenkins: 52 percent

Klaus Snyder: 48 percent

 

POSITION 5:

Chris Ihrig: 51 percent

Kathy (Rebar) Uphaus: 49 percent
