The Pacific Avenue Business District and the Tacoma Council PTA are jointly organizing a forum for candidates for Tacoma School Board, Tacoma City Council and the Metro Parks board.
The forum will be Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Moore Library at 56th Street and Pacific Avenue.
The sponsoring organizations will ask candidates to weigh in on the relationship of the school system to the local economy and to identify ways to make each stronger.
