Politico keeps the Washington McKenna-Inslee governor’s race as nation’s most competitive

For the second straight month, Politico has placed the open race for Washington governor as it’s most competitive.

And for the second straight month it gave Democrat Jay Inslee the edge following the months’ activities. The Washington, D.C. publication thought Republican Rob McKenna stumbled in July when he refused to complete a speech to an activist group because a Democratic videographer wouldn’t leave.

It also noted a complaint by Republicans that Inslee was improperly transferring money from his congressional campaign account to the governors race, a complaint disregarded by state campaign finance watchdogs.

The month before it dunned McKenna for some misstatements in his declaration talking points.

Here’s the link to David Catanese’s rankings. It contains the link to his June list.

McKenna is worthless and does not protect seniors from elder abuse or exploitation. McKenna suddenly appears after 3 years to give an award to Bank of America employees who helped an elderly man with dementia preserve his savings accounts from being stolen. The incident was in 2008. Keep that in the back of your mind as I repeat our story.

Our family reported abuse of mother and financial exploitation from incidents in 2008, 2009 and 2010. McKenna refused to investigate financial exploitation where over $400K was stolen, bank accounts changed, beneficiaries changed, safe stolen, stocks, municipal bonds stolen and US Treasury bonds stolen and life insurance cashed. McKenna’s office told family that “Mother had not been harmed in any way!!!” even though APS said they could rule for elder abuse, and the judge noted siblings “looted” from their mother. But soon after a Pierce County politician who profitted from the abuse suddenly appeared at DSHS’s doorstep the case is swept under the political Pierce County table.

The Power of Attorney was a DSHS employee, and McKenna still would not investigate abuses by a person who works for DSHS and structured along with siblings over $700K in funds.

Now we see McKenna 3 years later with employees who saved an elderly man from his savings being stolen for a “PHOTO OPT” because he wants the senior votes and the votes of the elderly.

Well Mr. McKenna you from our family’s perspective you are nothing more than a true politician looking at a photo opt while running for election.

VOTING NO TO MCKENNA, he didn’t care enough to safeguard my mother, he does not earn the votes of any senior and especially the most vulnerable among us!!!

Rob McKenna is the best choice for Gov. I will be donating, working and voting for Rob McKenna.

Will someone in the media ask Jay Inslee who he feels about the lawsuit against 1053, 2nd amendment gun rights, and drivers lic. for illegals?

Want to truly understand Jay Inslee, get him to answer these questions and you will see he is just another tax and spend left wing liberal.

  3. SeattleConservative says:

ElderJustice2010 has the same writing style as Inslee crony Chris McCullough, and the “justice” tag fits the leftist worker’s world party ideology that Inslee champions.
The voters of Washington will need to wake the *bleep* up this time or we’ll get Inslee in 2012 and a California welfare state 6 months later.

Maybe Seattle Conservative if you read correctly you might agree with me in that NO Politician even McKenna should use phony props for a campaign, regardless of party. As a conservative I do not appreciate politicians talking about elder abuse and yet after being presented with proof of over $400,000 stolen from an elder person with dementia in Tacoma by the power of attorney and children, including one prominent Pierce County Democrat child who profited from the crimes against his own elder and tried to cover it up with DSHS. I suggest you read the facts before protecting politicians who use props and do not protect seniors from elder abuse and exploitation. McKenna failed. Third party will get my vote.

I want an pure Obama Dem to continue the great advances in Washington state. Debt, unfunded mandates, huge govt unions who negotiate with the gov, tax more…….I want more of the same.
