Some mildly good news on jobs front

The state Employment Security Department released new employment numbers today for June, saying that the state added about 3,600 jobs in the month. ESD says that is 10 straight months of gains after May figures were revised from a loss to a gain of 2,500 jobs.

Also, Boeing secured another order for 737 planes in a mixed bit of news from American Airlines that could force the company to put new engines in that plane model rather than do a full revamp – which the Everett Herald says bodes well for increased employment in Washington state.

    Businesses are leaving this union hugging state. Just ask Mr. Boeing.

    Wake up poeple. The recession was over in Texas a year ago.

    We need for WA state to join the right to work list of states. Our liberal street cred is killing us.
