Jim Kastama never did anything for me. He backsided me when he introduced a “bill” that would have helped me in my water utility dealings with Puyallup. I wasted all kinds of time for his dog and pony show.

Good for Bruce. I hope he wins. He actually conducts conference calls in his area and lets us ask questions and give our opinions. As a tax payer I appreciate that. No other person has called me to ask what I think . You go Bruce . You’ve got 4 votes here!

Get the facts straight on the Building Code Council. The new energy code is the only rule in the state code where the legislative committee that oversees rules entered a formal finding that the rules process was insufficient in evaluating the economic impact. Bruce worked against unnecessary and cost-INeffective rules whose only benewficiary is the utilities- they who didn’t have to lay-off any employees during the Freat Recession and continue to raise rates in excess of inflation. Bruce Dammeier has consistently stood up for small business and common folk- just as Jim Kastama has. Bruce would be a worthy successor.

Oh my. Bruce Dammeir is not nice, fair or equitable. He is a bombastic idealogue who preens for special interests and can’t be bothered with facts and figures.

One example: As a non-voting member of the State Building Code Council, Dammier has made it his goal to block requirements that new buildings meet cost effective energy efficiency standards. If he had succeeded, new houses being built in Pierce County and the rest of the state would be stuck with unnecessarily high energy bills for years – to say nothing of being less comfortable to live in. (Note that all 15 voting members of the Building Code Council rejected his arguments and unanimously adopted the State Energy Code.)

And, he would have you believe that the building industry slump is due entirely to the energy code.

His record is not a good one for the environment or for our economy.

Bruce is what a politician should be: Fair, Honest, Equitable, and True to his word. A great leader with a proven record of public service that actually served the public.

Bruce is a great guy and has served his district with honor and respect. He deserves a seat at the senate table. He is a true leader and I thank him for his service.

He is also a good shot on the trap range.
