Peterson to run for Federal Way School Board

Danny Peterson has declared his candidacy for the Federal Way School Board.
Peterson plans to run for the District 3 position on the board. That seat is currently held by Amye Bronson-Doherty.

Here’s some information about Peterson from his news release:

He did his student teaching at Decatur High School and has taught elsewhere in the school district.

A nine-year resident of Federal Way and father of two, Peterson holds a masters’ degree in teaching from Seattle Pacific University. He has visited over 20 countries and traveled in Latin America and Africa working with schools, churches and communities to develop healthcare resources and educational programs.

He is a graduate of the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce’s Advancing Leadership program and a supporter of the Community In Schools mentoring program.
