Sporadic legislating continues at the Legislature. Today it’s the Senate’s turn for a little official business.

Senators will be on the floor and then in committee, where they will consider canceling a low-income property tax deferral program and expanding family planning.

Also up for a possible committee vote is SB 5542, which would allow cigar smoking at designated businesses despite the state’s workplace smoking ban.
