But Zeiger is just 28 votes ahead of Morrell, the House Democratic caucus chairwoman.

With tonight’s returns, more than 49,500 ballots have been counted in the 25th district. Pierce County only has 350 more on hand to count, and probably only a fraction of them are in this district.

  1. Be afraid Girl Scouts. Be afraid.

  2. Come on Hans! You can make it. Good thing this isn’t for the governorship or they’d keep finding ballots and recounting of course.

It’s time to bring in the folks from King County . People in Pierce County simply cannot count right.

  4. If the dude wins, maybe it will be good for the political cartoon industry?

Hans Zeiger would be good for jobs and the economy. The voters of PC voted against tax hikes but Dawn Morrell is for all tax hikes. She was at the head of the cheering squad in 2005 when our gas taxes went up to 49.5 cents per gallon. She told us that those taxes would give us a new Alaska Way Viaduct, 520 bridge and cross base highway. Still waiting and waiting and waiting. What, that was not enough money? You did not tell the truth? Typical Democrat.
