At approximately 9:30 p.m. Dan Brett, campaign field manager for Dick Muri, announced to the eager audience that there was still a chance to rally last minute absentee voters.

The Ballot Chase Program, organized by the state RNC, is a program that set up last minute ballot drop-off stations in areas with high volumes of declared republican voters who still haven’t submitted their absentee ballots.

In light of trailing numbers for Muri, supporters volunteered to read from a script and call voters from a call list to encourage them to submit their last-minute votes before midnight. The Muri and Rossi supporters hope the last minute efforts will make a difference in the race.

These calls took place in the casino lobby.
