Dick Muri staff gets close to conceding defeat in his challenge of Adam Smith

Dick Muri is doing a lot of hand-shaking as supporters begin to file out of the party. His fight against incumbent Adam Smith is starting to near a close, but campaign field manager Dan Brett is still looking up.

“Statistically it’s likely over,” he said. Still, optimism is the theme of the night.

“It ain’t over till it’s over,” Brett said.

  1. How does that statement make it a concession speech?? Seems more like resilience to me.
