Here are the details on the backyard chat this morning with President Obama.

Obama’s message today is promoting the effects of his policies on women, coinciding with the release of his administration’s report on the subject, highlighting laws like the so-called Fair Pay Act and elements of the stimulus bill that affect women.

So there will be a couple of women business owners in the backyard: Jody Hall, who employs 85 people at Seattle’s Cupcake Royale, and Christina Lomasney, CEO of metals manufacturer Modumetal, with 25 employees.

The gathering is hosted by the Foss family: Erik Foss, a general contractor, and his wife Cynnie, who is volunteer services manager at the University of Washington Medical Center.

Also attending are Murray, Gov. Chris Gregoire, Rep. Jim McDermott and Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, according to the White House.

The uh, backyard, uh, chat, and uh…

Barry was really struggling without his teleprompter.

The crowd seemed rather uncomfortable watching old Barry fumble awkwardly through his speech.

When he can’t even resonate and make a connection with a cherry picked group of his most loyal followers, you know he’s got a problem.

tacomaguy – if Obama would just condense his speaking to a handful (written on his hand) of talking points and utter those, regardless of the topic preceeded by “I know you want me to answer these questions but I’m going to tell the American people what I want them to hear”…….

No…I know….maybe an attack on knowledge of the First Amendment for a few laughs first….then start blathering talking points…..

As the Republican running against Feingold said “this campaign is not about details”

    Oh….and Sharron Angle is Asian……and…..

I’m making myself sick just remembering all this silly stuff.
