6th Congressional District Republican candidate Doug Cloud is holding a town hall forum Thursday in South Tacoma. The Cloud campaign invited incumbent Congressman Norm Dicks, but had not heard back as of Wednesday, according to Cloud campaign manager Chris Caillier. The only debate held so far between the two was last week in Sequim, where Dicks got an unfriendly reception.

Thursday’s forum starts at 7:30 p.m. at the South Park Community Center, 4851 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma.

  1. Wake up 6th District. Norm Dicks has hurt the employment in our district. Obamacare is just one of “his” votes. Boeing now feeling the affects of law. All of us are next. Please its time to vote for people with moral clarity. Our Country is on the verge of bankruptcy. This is a crictial election we must read and be informed voters. Norm Dicks needs to go.

I thought Norm Dicks is sick? Maybe that’s why he can’t make it. Will Julie Anderson be there?

  3. randydutton says:

Dicks is too ARROGANT to attend. He believes getting the US to borrow 42% of its budget for expenses, and then earmarking pork to his supporters will ensure his continued power

Dicks has helped engineer US dependency on Middle East foreign oil; dependency on China for rare earth elements (REE), essential for high technology manufacturing; dependency upon illegal aliens for our agriculture; .and dependency on socialism for our economic policies.
