Here’s the strange thing, Patty Murray trails Dino Rossi in the SurveyUSA poll but just last week was leading him in the Rasmussen poll that has been giving Rossi his best numbers.

SurveyUSA has Rossi leading 52-45. It also has him tied in the Seattle area. And the results show a massive gender gap – with Rossi up by 27 points among men and Murray up 12 percent among women.

Last week’s Rasmussen poll, which has been the GOP-leaning outlier, came in with 48-44 percent lead. When the pollster pushed those who said they were leaning toward one candidate or the other, Murray’s lead stayed the same at 50-46.
