League to hold forum in 27th Dist. legislative races

The League of Women Voters is sponsoring a forum next week for the crowded 27th District House races. Here are details:

CANDIDATE’S FORUM – 27th Legislative District

The League of Women Voters of Tacoma-Pierce County is sponsoring and moderating a Candidate’s Forum on Tuesday, July 27th, from 6-8 p.m. at The Evergreen State College (Tacoma), in Lyceum Hall, for candidates in the 27th legislative district State Representative Positions 1 and 2.

This forum is free and open to the public. Questions from the audience will be submitted on cards, and edited and selected by the moderator. Each candidate will get to answer each question asked in her/his forum, and will have the same amount of time to answer.

Position 1 candidates from 6:00 to appx. 7:00 p.m. (in ballot order) Laurie Jinkins, Jessica Smeall, Janis Gbalah, Jake Fey, Ken Nichols

Position 2 candidates from appx. 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. (in ballot order) Jon Higley, Jeannie Darnielle, Jon Cronk

  1. I think Jake lost of support when he became a Seattle ME TOO over imagration.But look how many illegals will be looking up to him!
