Ron Paul endorses Clint Didier for U.S. Senate

What is as interesting as this endorsement is the path it took to get to us.

The original story was posted by Josh Feit at Publicola. But I didn’t notice it there before the kind folks at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee sent it along.

The DSCC provides as much publicity to Republican Clint Didier as it does for incumbent Democrat Patty Murray. That is in keeping with the saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. In other words, if Didier can weaken Dino Rossi on the Republican side of the U.S. Senate primary, the DSCC is happy to help.

Anyway, here is the statement from Ron Paul _ a congressman from Texas and a tea party favorite.

“I am proud to endorse Clint Didier for United States Senate. Clint Didier will do the work to fight for lower taxes and spending and for more freedom in Washington. We need people like Clint voting with me in Congress.

“Clint Didier is a dynamic leader who understands our Constitution and will fight against out-of-control government to restore our Liberty. Clint has the courage to stand up against the bailouts and government takeovers being forced down our throats by Washington insiders.

“As a farmer and family man, Clint understands the challenges that we face. And, he understands that solutions lie in our Constitution and the great American traditions of freedom.

“The American people need more than just another vote. We need a man of principle who will always stand up for what is right. We need a citizen politician who will represent US. Clint Didier is just that kind of individual.”

It is the second big endorsement for Didier among personalities popular with the tea party. The first was from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Uh oh – there’s a split in right wing whacko land. Which whacko is whacko enough for the right wing voters? This division within the right will be more than enough to make sure we keep the seat in a patriot’s hands, i.e., a Democrat’s hands.

  2. Hey TonyCrago, what illicit substances do you use to achieve that level of delusion? Democrats does not equal patriots. It might but it sure isn’t a given.

And just so you know, there is no division in the right. What you’re seeing is no different than what old Jug Ears and Hillary had to do in 2008. The difference is how us right-wingers will resolve the situation. You Dems let your masters impose their solution on you peons. Us Repubs will vote on ours.

How did it feel to have half the Dem convention delegates neutered by a deal in a smoke filled room? Over here on the right, we have fresh air to breathe.

Wow @PGROUP you represent the right very well. Your grammer is appropriately fourth-grade level – “Democrats DOES not equal patriots???” Learn to speak like a human if you want to come here and argue.

The only patriot in this election is the Democrat. The republicans are traitors. They don’t deserve to be on US soil. You right wingers are going to see how crazy faaaaaar out to the right you can take your party only to find out that nobody in America – the REAL America cares about your lies, hate and cowardice.

Your ilk is so afraid of the truth that you can no longer even see it. And the air on the right? Well that’s as putrid as that cowardly AWOL idiot and punk George Bush!
