Today’s the first day of campaign school. The Jennifer Dunn Leadership Institute, which offers campaign and leadership training with a conservative bent, starts up its second class today.
Many are Republican candidates for the Legislature this year, including some taking on South Sound Democrats. There’s Brian Wurts, challenging Rep. Tami Green of Lakewood; Doug Richards, challenging Rep. Larry Seaquist of Gig Harbor, Dan Griffey, challenging Rep. Kathy Haigh of Shelton, Hans Zeiger, challenging Rep. Dawn Morrell of Puyallup; Tony Moore, challenging Sen. Tracey Eide of Federal Way; and Marty McClendon, challenging Sen. Derek Kilmer of Gig Harbor.
They’re following in the footsteps of several graduates of the first class, who are running strong campaigns against incumbent legislators.
