Today’s the first day of campaign school. The Jennifer Dunn Leadership Institute, which offers campaign and leadership training with a conservative bent, starts up its second class today.

Here’s the list of Republicans and conservatives who will be attending the three-day “boot camp.”

Many are Republican candidates for the Legislature thisĀ  year, including some taking on South Sound Democrats. There’s Brian Wurts, challenging Rep. Tami Green of Lakewood; Doug Richards, challenging Rep. Larry Seaquist of Gig Harbor, Dan Griffey, challenging Rep. Kathy Haigh of Shelton, Hans Zeiger, challenging Rep. Dawn Morrell of Puyallup; Tony Moore, challenging Sen. Tracey Eide of Federal Way; and Marty McClendon, challenging Sen. Derek Kilmer of Gig Harbor.

They’re following in the footsteps of several graduates of the first class, who are running strong campaigns against incumbent legislators.
