UPDATE: U.S. Sen. Patty Murray says she’ll dig in and fight for Medicaid funding for the states.

She put out this statement this morning after a six-month extension of Federal Medical Assistance Percentages funding was put into the American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act, which is up for consideration in the Senate this week.
