Gov. Chris Gregoire says Democratic lawmakers did well this year by passing a tax package, and she’s willing to defend lawmakers who voted for higher taxes.

And she warned if activist Tim Eyman is successful with the eight initiatives he filed today to overturn many specific taxes approved by lawmakers Monday, it would leave the state with an “all-cuts budget” she thinks is devastating.

  1. Objective says:

    Gregoire,
How much did it cost the taxpayers for your special session? About $600,000 was it.
Somebody please tell me this. Is there anybody up there protecting us from these goons? This is what I would have to call “Taxation Without Representation”!!!!!
