This McKenna legal filing got less attention: he will appeal McCleary case on school funding

It happened Thursday while most everyone was watching state Attorney General Rob McKenna respond to criticism over his decision to join a multi-state challenge of federal health reform.

McKenna served notice that the state will appeal a King County Superior Court ruling that the state is not meeting its constitutional duty to adequately fund public education.
