What candidates in 3rd district say about health-reform vote

Candidates for the 3rd Congressional District seat now held by U.S. Rep. Brian Baird are breaking along party lines on yesterday’s vote in the U.S. House to approve health-care reform.

Democrats Denny Heck from Olympia and state Sen. Craig Pridemore of Vancouver both put out statements in favor of the vote. Pridemore had been openly supporting the reform bill support, while Heck held off until the weekend when Baird also announced his position in support.
