Senators put own money on line in sales tax bill

The state Senate voted today to disallow lawmakers’ own expense allowances after June 2013 — if for some reason Democrats’ proposed temporary sales tax increase does not go away as scheduled by mid-2013.

  1. Setting the people of this state up to KEEP the sales tax increase. CUT SPENDING! Our governor increased the states government by 33% since she’s been in office. CUT THE 33% back! Your family and friends can find jobs else where.
