I-960: Senate Democrats shake off jitters and vote

The Senate Democrats overcame a bit of dissension in the ranks tonight and voted a third time to suspend most elements in Initiative 960. The effect is to make it easier to raise taxes by getting rid of I-960’s requirement for a two-thirds supermajority vote to pass tax hikes.

    Anyone in my district will find signs for their opponent prominently displayed in my front yard! Time to toss the bums out with our VOTES! This November let’s put them all on the unemployment line!
