Here’s a link to Governing Magazine’s blog that is reporting on the magazine’s own state government economic outlook conference.

Mark Zandi did provide a sliver of encouragement – on Feb. 11, 2011 the American economy will shift from recovery mode to a “self-sustaining expansion.” That’s 2011, not 2010.

But even then, state revenues will lag.

The government outlook conference should take another look at the http://www.usdebtclock.org/ and it follows, just might not disagree, it’s not an upcoming “self-sustaining expansion” but a “self-sustaining implosion” from ‘Taxpayers’ tomorrow else bankruptcy near for Federal and many states governments are not self-sustaining by still employed ‘Taxpayers.”
