The Pierce County Republican Party is gearing up for its caucuses Feb. 13.

Below is a press release on the events at various locations across the county. (Note subtle dig at the other party). Who can come? “Any registered voter who considers themselves a Republican,” according to the release.

For more information, see the group’s Web site or call (253) 722-5353.

Pierce County Republican Party to Kickoff 2010 Election Season with Caucuses February 13 at Locations across the County

Unlike the Democrats, we are giving our valued grassroots activists every opportunity for input into our party’s platform heading into the crucial mid-term elections. We have a unique opportunity to come together as a party on February 13 at locations across Pierce County to discuss the pressing issues facing our communities, state, and country. The challenges before us are great this year, perhaps the greatest in several generations. That’s why we want to involve our activists, from young to old, in this process. 2010 is truly shaping up to be a great year for our Party. With this first step, we begin to take our state, and our country, back!

Exactly how do the Democrats not provide their “valued grassroots activists every opportunity for input into our party’s platform?”

I’ve been to more Democratic district meetings, caucuses and conventions than I can count – just about all they ever do is debate items for their party platform…

If you ever wanted to have an effect on the political process, this is the time to get involved, for both Republicans and Democrats. And it looks to be a lively year.

John, as to who can come, I wouldn’t regard “any registered voter who considers themselves a Republican,” to be a subtle dig. More like a plain description of whose eligible.

  3. then question is, can you come up with people more litterate, more qualified, and more in-touch then your last warmed-over real estate salesman ?

  4. I wish mine was fake. We didn’t spend that much (comparatively) on it, but it has been a diamond ring that price several hundred dollars instead of one that was $1300 and seemed a similar.
