The University of Washington Daily talked to Husky Athletic Director Scott Woodward after the sort-of-successful football season to gauge the strategy toward getting state support for stadium renovations.

Woodward said he thinks the atmosphere in Olympia may have changed and that the stadium redo might be seen as a jobs-booster that is half-state funded and half-donor and fan money.

Here’s the story.
The writer is Maks Goldenshteyn who will be interning with The News Tribune in our Olympia bureau this session.

What does stadium renovations have to do with the results output from this ‘industry of education’? For example, education of un-education people to get a job and pay taxes when working within an industry their education training made them a value-added new employee productive asset. Why does the ‘industry of education’ want to suck-up more Taxpayers money when this Taxpayers money does not exist like right nowTake a look at the US Debt Clock; it follows, just to understand where the taxpayers money is coming from that supports the ‘industry of education’ tomorrows.Seems-to-me, first the ‘industry of education’ should educate students for job employment today or get out of the education business; however, if stadiums are important; it follows, form a private corporation outside the ‘industry of education’ and make all the money you want from stadium use for stadium fix-up from all, stadium users, private investors, or former ‘industry of education’ students and graduates only! No taxpayers please.
