Former Tacoma City Manager Ray Corpuz is weathering political upheaval in his new town of Seaside, Calif. Here’s the latest from the Monterey Herald.
SEASIDE, Calif- The results are in and the Seaside Police Officers Association (POA) has no confidence in City Manager Ray Corpuz.
The Seaside POA held the vote of no confidence ten days ago and just got the results Tuesday. The association says that the POA needed a majority of its member to vote for the no confidence to pass.
According to the President of the POA, Detective Nick Borgess, Corpuz is at the root of all of the issues coming out of the police department and Corpuz needs to be held accountable.
Here’s an earlier post on Corpuz’s battle with the Seaside police chief and another Herald story.
