Washington state divided on Ref. 71

The Secretary of State's office has an interesting map plotting how each county voted on the expansion of same-gender partner rights.

All of Eastern Washington and all of Southwest Washington were rejecting the referendum. The Puget Sound (minus Pierce County) and all of Northwest Washington was approving it.
