Tacoma municipal races, early counts: Mayor’s race extremely tight.

In what looks to be a long night in the Tacoma mayor’s race, Councilwoman Marilyn Strickland holds a 118-vote lead over architect Jim Merritt.

In other races, Victoria Woodards holds a commanding lead over Keven Rojecki for the at-large City Council seat; Marty Campbell is coasting in the race for City Council Position 4; and Joe Lonergan is pulling out a comfy margin against Beckie Summers Kirby in Position 5.
