But that’s only because Pierce is the only county left with poll voting and the rest of the work tonight will be counting and releasing those votes. And poll votes are a relatively small percentage of the total.

So here is what we have for Election Night 2009.

I-1033 (Tim Eyman’s measure that would cap state and local tax revenues.

Yes, 428,354 (44.5 percent)
No, 533,476 (55.6 percent)

Ref 71 (approving the Legislature’s action expanding legal rights of same-gender couples)

Approve, 506,936 (51 percent)
Reject, 484,567 (49 percent).
