Thanks to James King, Jr. for finding this one.
Of three special legislative races this year, one was of most interest because it was to replace longtime state Rep. Bill Grant. Grant was not just a leader of the House Democratic caucus but the only Democrat from Eastern Washington outside of downtown Spokane.
That seat went to the Republicans tonight. Grant's daughter Laura lost to Republican Terry Nealey.
The other two seats went to Republicans as well but they were already in GOP hands.
Here's a link to the chart.

So...whats going on?
Didn't Jan Shabro's memo, approved by Jan herself, show the first release of counts at 8:30 pm?
It is now five minutes to nine, 8:55, and still not a sound from the Auditor's Office about what the count reveals so far?
Where are the results!
Yes...where is the count????
Coming up on Nine o'clock. Nothing. County Auditor site still gives the zero count from this morning.
Is this an IT problem or and Auditor problem?
trib got scooped by exit133.com. results are being twittered there.
Anyone who knows the history of Pierce County knows that results are always promised by 8:30pm, rarely arrive before 9pm. No matter who the auditor is.
