You will find that it’s not necessarily the fault of the community corrections officers who are often overburdened with massive caseloads……..Here’s the real problem though….Offenders in your neighborhood cost less money than they do in prison….AND often the department of corrections sells bedspace to other states who pay more money than it costs us to house our own…..so our guys are dumped on the street and the community corrections staff are pressured to leave them there if at all possible. Occasioanally it bites the department in the a$$

How many millions have the state paid in law suits over the past few years because of negligence? I would sure light to know.

And they wonder why the state is broke. Between CPS screw ups and letting murders and child abusers out of prison where they should stay the rest of their lives.
