More of my catching up with my vacation e-mails. This happened Aug. 29 and it’s pretty much your “dog bites man” kinda story. It would be more newsworthy if Luke “The Truth” Esser were NOT thrilled to be on the side of taxpayers.

WSRP Endorses I-1033

On Saturday the Washington State Republican Party, by vote of its State Committee meeting in Wenatchee, endorsed the approval of Initiative 1033 in November. WSRP Chairman Luke Esser issued the following statement:

“We’re thrilled to be on the side of the taxpayers by unanimously endorsing I-1033. The Republican Party has always been a fierce defender of the fiscal discipline of I-601′s policies and the need for property tax relief. The taxpayers deserve a break from the unsustainable fiscal policies of Gov. Gregoire and the Democrats. Republicans across the state will work diligently over the coming weeks and months to aggressively advocate the benefits of I-1033 to the voters.”
