Two endangered clouded leopard cubs were introduced to the media at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Friday, March 23, 2012. The 2-week-old cubs will make their public debut on Saturday, March 24, with appearances every during their daily feeding times, currently 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The public will have an opportunity to vote on the cubs’ names through the zoo’s web site http://pdza.org

Sounders supporters elevate match day experience

The Seattle Sounders supporters are making match day fun for everyone. I talked to a few of them and tried to capture some of the intensity and emotion they add to the matches.

Closing the Ruston Tunnel

School’s almost out, but the beat goes on

We got a press release the other day about a fundraising event for the Lincoln High School drumline. So I went out and visited with them for a while. The program is only a few years old, but the students seem to be working hard. Here is the video I made from my visit.

The Hip Hop Arts Showcase 7 PM Friday, June 3, at Lincoln High School and will feature rappers, step teams, singers, dance crews and the Lincoln drumline. The proceeds from the event will help the drumline attend a drumline summer camp at Central Washington University.
