I’d like them if they got rid of the lime green crap on them.

the lime green is bad

Seeing our Seahawks in this uniforms reminds me a bit of the Tennessee Titans of 1997-1998. They were the Oilers, they moved to Nashville but got stuck in Memphis for a year with a temporary stadium, temporary uniforms, and had move their training facility to a college parking lot. What did they do? They played hard and lean and mean and in 1999 they went to the Super Bowl. Being the team that got stuck with these crappy experimental-looking uniforms, I think our guys ought to do the same thing.

My son loves the new look. The 21stcentury generation is who these unis are designed to appeal to, not us old timers who think the game should still be played with leather helmets.

Dump the leg chevrons and they are palable. But as they stand now they just have that “XFL feeling” to them. Like they are trying to be extreme instead of creative.

Horrible color scheme with the neon colors and the blue. Just horrible. I think our home colors should be the gray 3rd optional jersey’s, at least the colors are abit toned down. Plus, it dont matter if its 21st century or 18th century. The colors the Hawks wore yesterday are just plain tacky.

I agree chuck, the xbox generation loves the neon green, in fact they can’t get enough of it. If you don’t know who skrillex is, chances are you hate the new uniforms.

Chuck, ha, okay, you’re right that I like old school football. But even a kid who has taken Art 101 can see that the new colors clash. The designers should be fired.
The worst part – our new uniform is closely based on the Rams uniform. Our old Seahawks Blue was replaced with RAMS BLUE, same damn color. The gold stripes the Rams have around their shoulders were changed to gray and turned sideways. Then, they tried to copy NW Indian thunderbird feathers and somehow made them look like puke green tulips.
I am looking forward to seeing the Wolf Grey alternate uniforms. They actually are pretty cool. Too bad they’ll only be alternates.

okay… somebody just asked if this is a football blog or a fashion blog.
I am heretofore shamed into silence.

Not sure if 30 is young or old here, but I like the updated part of the uniform. Just not sold that puke green means updated. Get rid of that and I’m on board. I can’t imagine buying one as is. Maybe the grey.

I want to know who said hey lets bring back the lime green and make it stand out, they need to be punch in the *%$#^ when it was a very very small part of the previous jerseys. I agree these uniforms have a XFL feel. I will not be purchasing this home jersey anytime soon. They won’t revise these jerseys until it does show financially that is makes a different in sales.

Can’t believe nobody has said a thing about the backwards swoosh. Swoosh Left/Swoosh Right. One looks like a check mark or the other some sort of anti-check mark. It is so distracting I almost don’t notice the lime green it sits in.
I once had a pair of cross-trainers that had 18 swooshes on each shoe that I never saw when I bought them.
Maybe I’m being a little swooshanoid. You?

I thought I was the only one that hates the new jersey!
Is Seattle the only team in the league without their emblem on the sleeve? At first look, one would think Nike bought the team and changed the name? Because the checkmark is in neon, it’s the biggest thing that sticks out! Great marketing job by Nike!
I had someone tell me “forget the sleeves, having Seahawks on the front is awesome and makes up for it”!
I only have a 60″ TV but the only time you could read it was when they were close on the players face. Maybe I need to sit closer or get a bigger TV?
Good news is I haven’t bought a Nike product since they started naming everything “Air” back in the 1980’s and it looks like that trend will continue for as long as the uniforms look like a Nike ad.
I’ll happily stick with my Thomas jersey from last year.
I wish the front office would have been a bit more like some of the other teams (Green Bay, Carolina, etc) and told Nike to send their color blind designers back to the Arena league.

Look on the bright side. If you’re walking around in this jersey at night, the reflective numbers will make it easier for cars to see you.

Just watch all the games on live stream and it won’t matter what their wearing.

Loved the uniforms. It was great to see Matt and watching the new Matt run our offence. Though the play selection was very different for both of them.
