Sad day. Thank you Matt for being a leader, a warrior, and the face of the franchise. You are appreciated, and it will be great to see your name on the Ring of Honor soon.

Matt was really the last hold over from the Superbowl Team of 05, now with him gone it really does feel like the end of an era for Seahawk fans. I will never forget the “We want the ball and were going to score” quote.

Matt, thanks for all the years. You’ll be missed.

A lock for the ring best QB we have ever had.

Thanks Matt, May you finally hook up with a team that will give you a chance to show that you are one of the best to ever play this position.

Savior of my Seahawk fan-dom, he and Holmgren. Followed Krieg to KC so I guess Tenn it is. Don’t they have some CJ stud carry the rock and an decent o’line?

Wish you luck Matt. Wish you could have ended your career here.
But it is understandable when you are offered so much money and a guaranteed contract to go elsewhere.
Wow! Good fortune Matt! You’ve always been a class guy….

tru spence and lofa are still here from the 05 team

Maybe the defining moment of his career was a coin flip, followed four plays later by a pick. He’s the worlds nicest man, and we’ll see him on TV for 20 years after he retires, but I’m ready for the T-Jax era to get under way in Seattle.

and then the Luck / Barkley to begin soon afterward…

I hate you too much Matt. Best of luck to you and your family.

That pick was actualy the Seahawks second possession in overtime. Packers had one possession and Seattle had two.
Besides, you can thank Alex Bannister for running a sloppy route on that play.
