This is a beautiful picture. I would name it the Red Sea of Love for the 4 Fallen. A big THANK YOU to all of the law enforcement officers that came to support the 4 fallen officers and their families, friends and co-workers along with the entire Pierce County community.

I guess it takes an event like this to bring people together and act like the community should. This was gut wrenching to anyone who had a heart beat, to watch. If you are only able to reflect for just a moment how our lives can be changed forever in a second, you are a better person whether you know it or not. This is something one never forgets.

In the midst of a blizzard here, I found myself unable to do any planned honor of the murdered officers. As I walked to the bus stop from my home, I sang a song I practice for honor guard funeral’s here. I sung it as loud and as deeply as I could, for these officers, and their families.
I am a mother, too, and feel so deeply for the children who have lost their parents. I am so sorry for this tragedy and your community’s loss. I saw the pictures included people of all races, ages, professions, and felt gratified that this terrible single incident is not going to divide your community, but rather bring them together to honor the daily work of every officer, and the ultimate sacrifice these 4 officers and their families have given.
I am honored to be in the same profession as them.
