Fog = turn on your lights

It was incredibly foggy this morning in parts of the South Sound. So why were so many people driving without their lights on? I estimate that at least 1 in 10 vehicles I encountered on my 20-minute drive through Lakewood and South Tacoma didn’t have their lights on.

It’s not a tough concept: When it’s foggy, you want other drivers to see your car. This time of year, patchy morning fog is not unusual, so people should get in the habit of turning on their lights for the morning commute.

I couldn’t agree more.. Thankfully I have the auto headlights that only stay off if your driving with your E brake engaged (please don’t try that one) or if they’ve died out and need to be replaced!

The one thing about this post that I will say is; isn’t it sad how many people have lived in this state for sooooooo long and still don’t know how to navigate through inclement weather.. It’s terrible!!
