With Bill Frist’s hold on the Senate legislative process broken, there’s talk of decoupling the sales tax deduction the estate tax cut he favored and getting the deduction in place in time for 2006 tax returns. We’re in favor.


Let’s try to figure out how to light up the new Narrows bridge – without dunning the tollpayers or diverting money from other transportation projects, of course.
