Look who’s coming to see us

The ed board is really a crossroads of the community – one of the things we most enjoy about our jobs. Lots of folks come by to talk to us about issues.


Here are some of the people we’ll meet this week, in addition to political candidates seeking our endorsement for the Nov. 7 election. Feel free to email me questions you’d like us to pose to visitors. We’ll let you know how they respond.


Monday: We meet with Tim Quigg and Chester Trabucco, who hope to restore the Winthrop Hotel. ( news story) I also meet one-on-one with the Evergreen Freedom Foundation‘s education critic, Marsha Richards.

Wednesday: Mark Funk and Marc Frazer, representing the Washington Roundtable, to discuss Washington Learns.

Thursday: Gov. Chris Gregoire, regarding her economic development plan for Washington
