She takes great pride in being able to skate circles around me (which is not very hard to do). This game should be fun to watch regardless of the outcome. I've also been amused and amazed at how many Canadian fans have adopted the worst of the old USA-style chants and jingoism. I realize those are very general statements, but those are my overall impressions so far. I can't believe I look forward to watching women's hockey, of all things. I have been extremely impressed by the humble and gracious tone of most of the USA athletes in victory or defeat. I’ve also been amused and amazed at how many Canadian fans have adopted the worst of the old USA-style chants and jingoism.
