Meet guest blogger Brennan LaBrie

Brennan LaBrie has sung with Cloris Leachman, he’s started his own newspaper and he’s been a correspondent for TIME. Now the 10-year-old will be a guest blogger for The News Tribune.

LaBrie lives in Port Townsend and has taken the year off from school to pursue his interest in journalism. He won a contest to become a kid reporter for TIME Magazine’s “Time for Kids” and will be traveling to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, B.C.

He will post stories on this blog before and during the Olympics.

LaBrie started a newspaper “The Spruce Street Weekly,” which he writes by hand and photocopies in order to explore his budding passion for journalism. He’s appeared as a guest on NPR’s Weekend Edition and is currently playing Tiny Tim in the Key City Public Theater’s version of “Scrooge the Musical.”

  1. I think it is fantastic that he is going to the Games in Vancover B.C. Can I become a columist or start a blog.
