COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – * The weeklong event began May 11 and pits more than 260 wounded servicemembers from across the Department of Defense and United Kingdom against each other in a goodwill competition. Servicemembers will compete in track and field, sitting volleyball, shooting, swimming, archery, and cycling. The Warrior Games are intended to help servicemembers advance their recovery by helping them overcome challenges associated with their physical injuries or illnesses. (US Army photo by Sgt. Victor J.
