Wetzel Returns

Residents of Glencoe, Ala., welcome home U.S. Army Spc. Josh Wetzel Friday, October 19, 2012. Wetzel returned to his hometown for the first time since he lost his legs in a roadside bombing on May 31st. Since that incident, Wetzel has been recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he still receives outpatient care. More than 17,000 friends have followed his progress and inspirational words on Facebook. Wetzel is a graduate of Glencoe High School, and attended Gadsden State Community College and Young-Harris College on baseball scholarships.(AP Photo/The Birmingham News, Joe Songer) MAGS OUT
