An airman from Cowlitz County died Sept. 12 on a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea, the Pentagon announced Wednesday.

I find it very curious that this can go unreported for 11 days, and then when it finally is, have absolutely no details on what happened. I think that this airman deserves to have an awareness about his situation. If they were trying to keep this sad loss a secret, they would have.

I sure hope that this man’s family isn’t having to suffer with no answers while the same government he was trying to serve and protect is attempting to pull the wool over the public’s eyes about his death. What a disgrace.

My sympathies go out to Sgt. Hornbarger’s family during this awful time.

I have to agree with you on this one… I feel for his family.. Absolutely no news on this soldier. Its sad. RIP Sgt Hornbarger.
