Body armor update

The Government Accountability Office came to Fort Lewis as part of its most recent update on the quality and availability of body armor for soldiers and Marines. The GAO’s findings, released Friday: the services have enough sets on hand to meet requirements in Iraq and Afghanistan, testing shows it works, and the two services are talking to each other about quality and testing.
