Remember all those purple fingers? Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class Patrick McDonald had a hand in that. The longtime official in the Washington Secretary of State’s office was part of the U.S. military’s election planning team in Baghdad last year.

He’ll tell his story over breakfast Friday at the World Trade Center Tacoma. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Plaza downtown, 21st floor. It’s $10 for students and World Trade Center Tacoma members, $15 for everyone else.
