For a good portion of the season, the Seattle Mariners bullpen has been a strong point for them. But not on Tuesday, the bullpen imploded for four runs and eight hits in three innings, ruining a relatively decent outing from Ian Snell, who pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits.

“This game is a lot about the bullpen,” Wakamatsu said. “I thought Snell did a heck of a job going out there and competing and giving us six innings under the circumstances.”

Obviously, a great outing from Felix Hernandez. But was it a Cy Young type of outing?
